Email addresses created through our Email Hosting and Website Hosting plans can be added to Gmail.
Follow the steps below to allow your existing Gmail inbox to receive emails from these accounts.
- Ensure you are logged into your Gmail account and are viewing your inbox.
- Click the gear icon in the top right to open the settings tab, then click "See all settings".
- Select the "Accounts" tab from the top of the screen.
- Click the "Add an email account" link located under the "Check email from other accounts" section.
- Enter the email address you are trying to connect to (eg. admin@draeockenden.com.au), then click next.
- The username is the same as your email address entered in Step 5.
- The password was set when the email was created (passwords can be changed).
- The POP server depends on if you are using one of our Email Hosting or Website Hosting plans.
Email Hosting: ax.email
Website Hosting: mail.yourdomain.com.au (replace yourdomain.com.au with your server domain, eg. mail.draeockenden.com.au) - Port is 995 for secure or 110 for insecure
- "Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail." is highly recommended (ensure you are using port 995 if you select this option).
- Click "Add Account" and you are Done!
